Midsota Drywall LLC is hiring hangers, finishers, and helpers out of our shop at 221 Central Ave Suite 1, Long Prairie, MN 56347. Residential and light commercial work across Central Minnesota, with the owner on site.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We plan work so weekends stay yours whenever possible.

You learn from the person who bids and runs the job, not a rotating cast of leads. Helpers move up fast here.

Most jobs are within an hour of our Long Prairie shop. You sleep in your own bed every night.
Licensed and insured
We carry proper coverage and run a safe site with the right lifts, stilts, dust control, and PPE.

Drywall Hanger
Full-timeCompetitive, based on experienceHang board on new homes, additions, basement finishes, and light commercial build-outs. Clean layout, tight seams, and screws set right the first time.
What you will do
- Measure, cut, and hang board on walls and ceilings
- Frame checks, blocking, and cutouts for boxes and cans
- Keep the jobsite stocked, swept, and safe
- Load and unload material with the crew
What we are looking for
- 1+ year hanging experience preferred, but we will train the right person
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable lifting 75 lbs and working from stilts or benches
Drywall Finisher / Taper
Full-timeTop pay for Level 5 experienceTape, coat, and sand to a Level 4 or Level 5 finish on homes and commercial spaces where the light is unforgiving.
What you will do
- Tape, bed, and coat flats, angles, and bead
- Sand and point-up to a flawless finish
- Spray and knockdown texture where specified
- Protect floors, trim, and finished surfaces
What we are looking for
- 2+ years finishing experience
- Ability to run a box, knife, or texture rig
- Pride in a wall that looks right under raking light
Drywall Helper / Laborer
Full-time or seasonalHourly, with raises as skills growAn entry point into the trade. Stock material, run tools, sand, and clean up while learning to hang and finish from the owner directly.
What you will do
- Stock and haul board, mud, and tools
- Sand, vacuum, and prep spaces for finish
- Assist hangers and finishers throughout the day
What we are looking for
- No experience required, just show up on time and work
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to learn a trade you can build a career on
